Nicely filmed, good characters. An interesting twist on an old story. As a hiker, I have some problems with the script-writers’ understanding of section hikers who’d attempt part of the Appalachian Trail. Some, in that group, would have maps and would have thoroughly researched the landscape. All of these people were too clueless out there. Also, I felt the ending was disappointing. I think the potential for something on a grander scale was possible. A better ending could have raised this story to something really special.
