Awesome movie, that boys and girls is what is called generational curses. Every family has them, some small while others are horrendous. Others in the bloodline suffer because of at least one of the elders in the family who is just wicked. Life great cycle of life ๐๐
Summarize: the brother should have been beaten to his death for committing a Racist act. The mother should be sentenced to death along with the grandfather. This movies describes the USA down to the "dot on the i."

This is not the movie I was hoping to find when searching for the 1975 movie called Bug.
"Mom said there are three kinds of things. There's what's real…" Why leave the audience hanging at the beginning? That's just bad scripting.
It's super gay to want kids? I really hate when people use that term in a negative way that doesn't mean anything what the user implies it as.
"Is it ok that she's Mexican?" We have racism in here as well? What are they teaching this kid?
What kid these days has to be reminded to carry his own phone? That's just unrealistic.

I tried watching this movie, but too many things are left either incomplete or confusing right from the start. Whoever wrote this movie should have done a better job.
I remember seeing this in theaters with my bf. I think here were like only two other people there and they left after like 45 demanding money back. This isn't a typical horror movie but the acting was so crazy I loved it. Thought it gets under your skin (pun?) more than most of the other scary movies. It's a true descent into madness. I heard the idea came about in part from the lead male, which I've seen in other movies. And not sure either there was a broadway show based around this movie either before or after the release of the movie. The lead guy played that role too. Wonder how much practice he needed to walk around that wonky. ๐๐๐

well the bigoted old bastard ruined his entire families life … he is responsible for a shocking level of dysfunction in that family, in their relationships and in their twisted version of what is ok … pray Bug stayed true to her moral compass coz the others lacked one!
Bug by Directed by Phil Hay, Matt Manfredi is what I was looking for. It's much better than this imho. Especially since mine has ALL OF THE SOUND!
