I had to google Christopher Atkins name, cause I knew I heard it before, and out of hunch, I checked for the Pirate Movie (the 1982 20th Century Fox movie that lampoons on the Pirates of Penzance and often is erroneously mixed with the Joseph Papp version with Rex Smith, Kevin Kline and Linda Ronstadt). I thought he was the Pirate King, but that was Ted Hamilton. Atkins was Frederic in that movie. Also, he was in the Blue Lagoon.
Glad to see he kept acting after all these years.
Fun, but just for once wouldn’t it be great not to have some continuously shrieking screaming teenager..? Apart from that, cool movie! 😄

Those kids are such wooses. And the boy is pretty damn stupid and the girl's a brat.
As silly as this film was I really enjoyed it for the very reason that it was silly a nice piece of escapism.
