  1. November ,50 years ago I was drafted for 36 months to the Israeli army & I volunteered for a combat special recon infantry. We fought 1 major war in Syria 1973.When I was finished 1974 I had 5 months freedom & was drafted for 61 days into my combat reserve unit which I did 61 days a year until age 40. I don't recognize the silly things these grunts do as "army". No wonder the whole world laughs at the US Military.

  2. Need to admire commitment to little details, like surname Dickson for the dude, who behaves like a dick ๐Ÿ˜‚ typical "troubled" kid , with no parents, grew up fending for himself mostly by fists, so all he see is a battle and all soulutions are on battlefield, is all he ever knew, so for this character and him only the theme of movie is "natural" it's for guys like this, demaged, physical, fighting mode, other guy know value of precious time with loved one ( girlfriend had cancer) , and willing to cheat for his priorities, plus he realize this "war" is not worth dying for, it's all bullshit ( rich elite getting ritcher, nothing to do with peace or justice) third one is like a naive, innocent child, who just don't have a clue about real life at all , cute stereotypical picture

  3. I grew up with the draft – WW2 – Japan and Nazi Germany declared war on us. We were defending our country. N.Korea and Red China and the USSR posed definite threats or so we thought. We saw compulsory military service in the same light as death and taxes( although many did what they could to evade the draft ) BUT THE NAM!!!!! Some fled the land; professional jocks all went in to National Guard units. What happened to those poor bastards who came back from the Nam? They were a political embarrassment! Shunned by one and all. It took a guy in Chicago listing those who had been killed or were MIA to finally get a wall put up officially. Now let me say this; national defense? The Romans conquered the world in self defense. Hitler defended Germany from the Arctic Circle to the Sahara Desert. USSR did pretty much the same thing. Putin's Russia is now "defending" Russia with Military training – even for little kids. Vietnam showed us that the "domino effect was a bunch of garbage. OK enough for now but don't go away – I shall return – Don't know what that means ask those who were in the Phillippines back in the day.

  4. There can't be a draft here in America. The reason for this because we have a volunteer military. One reason we have a volunteer military is because most of the men and women in the military are folks that can't make it in private industry. Look at the largest US Marine base in the continental United States that base is located in San Diego, California. This base is a huge Swastika! This Swastika Marine base is so huge the crew's on board the ISS see this Swastika Marine base from orbit every time they pass over it. Now if we had a draft I figure as well as the powers that be also know that there maybe trouble with a giant Swastika base so in order to keep their dream alive they must have a military force unaware of the fact that America is the 4th. Reich that is why we have companies like Krupp, Thyssen called ThyssenKrupp. In the case of Krupp in WW2 everything made of metal in Germany was made by Krupp. So Krupp was involved with the murder of more that 12.5 million jews. Does anyone believe for a second that Mr. Krupp woke up one day and said I know I was involved with mass murder but now I'm ok. Look we are the 4th. Reich and we are required to "support the troops" and if you don't support the troops then you're unamerican. If you don't like where these troops are living even if it's a Swastika then you don't support the troops. Check out what I'm saying get from google right now and see for yourself and see with your own eyes that the largest Marine base in the continental US located in San Diego, California is indeed a giant Swastika.

  5. We never should have abolished the draft in the first place. American military readiness has been on a steady decline ever since. The guys who posted this film asked, what would I do. I would serve. That is just that. This film reminds me very much of a flop film that I saw back in 1970 called The Strawberry Statement. This film is a little better than that one was, though.
