Wow, that's quite different from the rest of the Hallmark-style movies. For starters, it's a musical (a country musical, no less), and the main couple doesn't end up together.
I think they could have spent less time on the love triangle and skipped the scene where he tries to stop the engagement thing, and give the romance with singer girl a bit more screen time.
I've been watching these kinds of movies in the background while I work.
