  1. As a human with Asperger's,
it is absurd how the parents who learned their children had it-
were taught to accept and coddle their children with Aspergers.
I have witnessed so much ridiculous behavior which is best described as "spoiled and bratty".
These new entitled Aspy Brats need discipline-not coddling or the acceptance of bad behavior.
It is child abuse to let any child scream, rage, and tear apart any place where they are not getting their way!
My mother never put up with it and I thank her.
"A child left unto themselves witll suffer harm."
These undisciplined Aspies will suffer their whole lives because of the lack of it.

  2. I truly thought that this was a family film by the title alone.
    Every other word is "F"ing, "F" that! F F F!

The sign of uncreative speech or writing is a reliance on curse words/foul language.
There is no way I'm letting my kids watch this gutter trash!

  3. Excellent film. Great acting and energy between all, especially main actors. What about creating a series for a tv/cable program? I can picture a million and one stories revolving around characters and the town. Questions about the ending: Where were they? What was the relationship between Mary and Daniel? It seems as if there was a huge gap from scene w/Daniel and soon in the bedroom to the very end. Thanks for explaining. Hope to see more of all of these actors working together!

  4. I'm of the belief that what we do in life is what matters. When we're dead, nothing matters. So it's hard to understand the motive for the story, but I'm willing to accept that most people might be similarly motivated. It certainly provided a good plot device to drive some interesting interpersonal dynamics, the acting of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I think the a-holery was overdone, and any person displaying that degree of dichotomy between kindness and a-holery needs to sort some things with the help of a therapist in order not to do damage to others. The kindness doesn't cancel the a-holery — that's just not how it works. It may seem like a minor thing in movieland, but I believe that in real life, it is not.
Other than that the scenery is captivating. Water, trees….

  5. The actual title of the movie is "The Last Right". And genre wise it's a drama – not a comedy (as advertised in the upload title). I'm not saying it's a bad movie as such.. It propably isn't.. But if you came here to watch a funny movie then you're in for a disappointment.

  6. I often watch Irish movies more for the scenery than anything. A few things irritate me – the clutter in office and post office scenes, poor customer service and the bad language. Some of the comedy sketches really are so outdated.Ireland is not what it was and would like to see if reflected in movies.
