This film AKA, Dream A Little Dream, was one of many switcheroo movies of late 80's early 90's & this one was not one of the good ones. Although the sound tracks were some solid hits!

This movie actually had a good premise but the direction was pretty bad.
All the characters have a subplot and no development in none of them. Plus, The Coreys were fun to watch but they were not good actors, especially in this. Had this had been a Brat Pack project and a John Hughes film, it would've been a kick ass 80s staple.
The sequel to this is just as aimless and makes even less sense but it also has the Two Coreys, so that's something.
Definitely a guilty pleasure.
