A great movie showing a person can get carried away chasing his or her dreams. However, he came to his senses, and returned to his original self, a simple, clean-cut, honest man. He put his daughter and wife above and over his dream career, singing. And all turns out well in the end as he received a record deal even though he did not win the singing competition.

I just started watching the movie, so far so good. But I just wanted to mention to the female audience. The mom is barely wearing any makeup. And that's refreshing!!! Natural beauty is amazing. There's no reason to pu on makeup with a spray gun, a roller, and a paint brush. Men love women in their natural beauty. And needless to say that all those chemicals are absorbed into ones body and it's poison. There's an old song 🎵…Natural Woman…🎵. But then again, I was born in the mis 60's , so what do I know.

A lot of times there is going to be someone that wants to change who you really are and if someone manages to do that then they are no longer the person they use to be! I wonder if anyone is really happy after they let someone change them. It's good Ben saw what was happening to him before it was too late.
It is cruelty when judgment is made on someone not wearing flashy clothes or tons of make up instead of the talent they are showing, singing, playing an instrument, dancing, a profession saving lives, being a loving and caring person.
I am so happy I am not like some fans but that sure doesn't make me very popular, either LOL
If you have a mother, dad, spouse, other family and friends that love you for you and who you are, that's worth more than a lot of money although we do need money to exist LOL
I was hoping Ben's dad had not passed away and would see Ben's performance at the end of the contest and just a perfect ending for Ben but I will let anyone reading see how it ends without my telling them that, too.
