Five highly qualified applicants interview for a coveted job with the Carcharias Corporation, a powerful conglomerate whose business practices are shrouded in mystery. On the night before the last round of interviews, they are all kidnapped and drugged. The next day, they wake up trapped together in a locked room without any hope of escape. Soon the true nature of their situation is revealed when they receive a phone call from the mysterious CEO of Carcharias, known only as The Employer. He informs them that they are about to experience the final interview, but it’s not at all what they were expecting.

Reviews:
“I think this movie is severely underrated. I really enjoyed the flick. I didn’t know anything about the movie except what the description was and I found it to be really good. I liked how they provided back story for each character and showed parts of their interviews and when they got abducted.

SPOILERS
I didn’t know the chubby girl had all the information about the others before going in. When I found out, it made sense that she woke up 1st. Then, I was mad when she starting talking at the end and basically gave away that she knew about the interview beforehand and was going to kill him. But that’s just like bad guys to want to brag a bit.

I loved the dark haired smoker guy. I was really rooting for him and was glad they got the muscle guy out the way fast. I know some reviews said it wasn’t believable. But the muscle guy was intentionally beat up the night before and had a broken rib and etc. With the element of surprise, I’ve seen a lot of smaller guys take on bigger guys and win.

I didn’t like the guy with the glasses. The ending I think was bad, I really wanted the dork guy to kill the employer. Because in the end even though he killed Alan. He had no choice. Kill Alan or some guys will be at your door to kill you. I really don’t think he has what it takes to be a part of the company.

Overall, it was a good movie. Not movie theater worthy, but Saturday night DVD worthy for sure. I have watched a ton of movies and I guess I am not a snob. I expect a B or C movie to be a B or C movie. I do not expect the acting to be superb or the set to be spectacular. It’s a low budget movie and for a low budget movie it was good. I cared about each character, except the ninja girl. When muscle head talked to his mom that was touching and when the last girl to die couldn’t reach her sister I felt bad for her.

I recommend this movie. IMDb has a way of rating a movie lower than it should be. This is definitely one where they go it wrong.”

  1. Need a sequal – following James' progress.
Tho' perhaps not, seqels are rerely as good as the originall.
Could make a good TV series, though. "The Adaptable Man", loosely based on the film.
Hmmm . . . wonderin' if Patrick McGoohan (Sp?) is still with us . . .

  2. This movie is good for increase to our empowerment when we will be hard time. As well as I requisition to all I don't have much money but I have most rare idea in business field. I have graduated last year

  3. This is actually a really really good film!!! I had very low expectations and it has BLOWN THEM OUT THE WATER BOYO!!! 8.5/10 I.M.P.O.!!$ ❤❤💯💯💯🖖🏾🖖🏾🖖🏾🫡🫡

  4. Seems a movie with each person representing characters and attitudes in corporate world, but conveying a wrong message for how companies work or shall work and characters with dishonesty are shown. Real world is not like that, honesty and ethics rules everywhere finally with a person job despite designation higher or lower., despite sooner or later with what is called success. But a honest employee in the long run learns that he competes with himself, and he seeks more job satisfaction, self recognition for what he works. He understands how he has grown and help others to grow. this message is what shall be shown as correct in movies and media.

Being in telecom world for more years, it is very sad to see that how the working environment which emphasized on team work , working together is shifting towards working or getting something at the cost others.

When i started working 25 years ago, working teams identifies, working together in team, sharing knowledge with team, helping each other was the organization culture , corporate culture.

Now i see the importance is on more individuality, a winning over attitude over colleague, at time trying to show better than others attitude in current decade employees.

I learned a lot with team work decades ago than what it is now today. In the name of being smart and attitude at times, characters and behaviors of unethical workplace practices are shown in movies like this which is not healthy for current and tomorrow's generations.

Honest competitions are healthy, and it is the only smartness. if honesty is removed from being smart, then we don't need that word at the cost of losing honesty and being ethical.

We will get retire one day and we have a life after that also, that time we are going to appraise ourself for what we worked and how we worked with others at an organization and this is what going to makes us feel for what we worked. We may not get designation, expected salary or recognitions, jobs in time sometimes, but that is ok as when we get to know all other people in a company we know and understand that almost everyone is having this feeling. Being sincere, honest working works out in some ways, we shall wait.

  5. first of all i am against all kinds of sick twisted incited deliberate physical emotional psychological abuse assaults on others, which was what was being done on me for so long here from 2011 till 2023-24, it only creates more bloodshed in retribution, this is sick twisted way of so called choosing candidates when you as board members or heads do not know have faith in your own capabilities to know who is the right choice, if there are multiple choices of same levels just go by your instinct who is best keeping other firmly in forthcoming layers or adjusting them in other positions to be moved if the main choice fails just like chess board game where even pawn is needed and used till the last that's all, even if hypothetically nobody is murdered yet cutting people's livelihood is same as killing somebody slowly, second what is right wrong ethical in business deals are what business it is and what is to be dealt with

  6. The winner guy will not last a month in his job, lol. He just did what he did to survive, not to win. He does not have the aptitude. Being blood-hungry is what makes one thrive in the corporate world. He won't get far.
