Gritty as Hell gangster noir themes this one hits hard and low.
Deeper timeless themes of life filter through the murky characters and at times its quite moving to watch ; emotional; realistic and also sad.
Yet lives are turned upside down by poor choices and bad decision.
A poor Fool grows up to find his inner courage and outer power ; only to see guts is only half the character needed to really survive the mean streets of LA.

Fantastic story great actors great characters great directing no method acting just felt emotions to act out characters every one gave their natural emotions giving themselves to feel how it could be that real people are in very personal experiences
22 years whar will and his emeanor and treatment by family and society he has been forgotten horrible I had my son sentensed to 11 years servd all he was 19 hes 42 now he lost his transitions into maturing as society did changed but he stayed at being 19 still till now hes turned into an addict prefering to live without us his family we gave uo in trying to help him he just abused us by stealing from us and never trying any rehab to live normal it pains me i eel so bsd in me for him and for him i still have him ccome by to eat abnd vet. Leaned up and some money i dont care that hr uss it for buying but thats on him i wont judge him he comes to feel love from jis family he apre iates that he belongs most of the people be associates w are users like him but mostly dont have arelationship s their ffamilies they been turned awY or they choose. Ot to have a relationship and some have no family so i feel good that my son likes hisattachment t family and us acknowledging be is related as a main member of our family as his sisters and brothers equally important dspite his antisocial actions we do acknowledge him as a member of our family i feel for him as the son thart i will always love thanx had to. Vent out my sadness and sorrow for him being out there difficult dangerous way to live ignoring how itt hurts me and containing my pain and anger anger i shouldnt put on him i rather wait on seeing him whenever he comes to see me i feel his love for me and he likes feeling my love for him we both accept of each other more importantly we respect each other as men that we are ghen as father and son that we have that love and keep protected from both of us not to lose it its love of family that keeps us strong and going keeping us happy individually and in sharing in being family everyone else too we all love each other thanx
