Think about it. Yoko was making quite a few trips to Hawaii in those days, then the jerk that killed John came from Hawaii all the way to the U.S. and knew exactly where John lived. Remember there was no internet then and John wasn't in the local phone book either. Ask anyone you know if they knew the address of where any of the Beatles lived in 1980!! The motive being if John died Yoko would get ALL of his MONEY. Which is exactly what did happen. Also none of the other three Beatles liked Yoko and made that known.
Oh! Come on! Doctors, nurses, they never take a bath in the blood's victimes like this. All this blood all around! So stupide !

Pretty good movie. A lot of facts were off but most movies about true life events alway have some missteps. The footage for the Monday night football game shown was not of the Dolphins bs Patriots.
Sean Lennon, from the back looked older than 5, which he was at the time.
Roosevelt Hospital was a fairly busy hospital, but it seemed like a slow community hospital.
At the scene, the Police knew it was John, one of the Officers was a fan and they rushed to get him to their car and transport John to Roosevelt. Seemed too slow paced here. At the scene, Yoko was quite upset and screaming. She did not calm down until she was at the hospital, at that point she was in shock.
Thank god Yoko survived….are words u never hear.

Horrible to see Lennon slumped upright in the back seat of the police car too.
And Alan Weiss appears to not only get in the way of the emergency workers efforts, but appears both proud and relieved that he died just so his tip-off to the media was confirmed true. This film also made it appear that the public were told of his death even before Yoko was told.
Otherwise, it was a relatively accurate portrayal. And we all know that Stephen Lynn lied about his involvement.

Before my college graduation with B.A. in double- majors of Biology and Chemistry from Gallaudet University with my Class on 1981 on Monday May 18, 1981, I read Washington Post that John Lennon, the famous Beatles musician was shot fatally while almost entered into his tall- rising apartment building where Yokono and his boy- Sean lived in the Central Park in New York City, N.Y. on December 1980. It really saddened me in realty in a fact.
They didn't go through all that. He was DOA on arrival at the Hospital.
What come on this medical team cut open a guy and are in their usual equiptment they were supposed to wear masks and gounds

Born in 84, i didn't get to experience John alive, but been a Beatles fan since I was 10 years old, so by now I know their story, but every time I read, or watch a film regarding John's death, it always feels like its the first time hearing the news, like, "I hope he's ok!"… who would do this to this man
I’m glad they set the record straight as far as Dr Stephen Lynch is concerned. He’s perpetuated the lie, including making money off the story, that he was the Doctor who worked on John. He was the head of the Department. It’s always annoyed me that he capitalized for more than 40 years on a lie.

I can only imagine the shock, fear, and helplessness the medical staff must have felt when they desperately tried to save John’s life. 😭😭😭
Alan Weiss listened very carefully that John Lennon was in the ER and looked very closely that's a grieving Yoko Ono. The minute it made it to ABC, the world mourned the loss of a Beatle. John didn't deserve to die 😭. From Double Fantasy, my favorite track that never charted is Beautiful Boy and John wrote the song for his 5 year old son Sean.

Seeing the doctor actually smoking was surreal.
I was 20 in 1980,heard it on the radio in the uk, just gone 3am our time ,my recollection was it seemed the whole world hit the pause button at the same time, it was just sheer disbelief.
On December 8,1980 POS shoves the double fantasy album for John to sign. John gives a WTF eye message to Paul Goresh, who snaps a photo of John signing for the POS . POS lies in wait for John when he returns from Record Plant. POS bushwacks him with hollow point bullets that shred on impact He emptied his .38 charter arms special…
Fast forward 45 years POS has wife who lives nearby the prison he is in. She gets conjugal rights to spend a week with POS . Fairly recent photos show her smiling with POS . She should have known POS was going to kill John. POS left Hawaii in October to kill John but had to go back cause he couldn't get bullets. Next time he flew from Hawaii in Dec. 1980 he had bullets. This POS was living in Oahu as a watchman. He quit his job. Wtf, in meager earnings he tells his wife ,"I'm going to NYC for the second time in two months ". And she is like what for? Gotta figure POS response is maybe to kill Lennon. When is Instant Karma gonna get these two ?
As Cosell said on the football broadcast, …"dead on arrival…" Lennon had no chance after being shot 4 times in the back.
A star like John belonged to the sky so he could not stay longer with us. It was necessary to let him go.
This happened when I was only 18…I'm 63 now, and I STILL haven't gotten over it. I don't think I EVER will. About 2 yrs after this happened, I was on active duty in the Army, and was stationed in Korea. One night in March of 1983, I had this crazy dream. In it, I dreamed "what if someone invented a Time Machine, and could go back in time and stop John's Murder?" So I jotted the idea down. Another year and a half later, I became a Cadet at West Point. One of our assignments in Freshman English class was to write a short story, with a plot and character development. So I used the idea I had in my dream as inspiration, and wrote a Time Travel story in which a Professor at Columbia University , who was working on a "Time Machine" at the time of John's murder, decides to test it by going back in Time to try and change history and stop it from happening. I wrote this 20 page story in ONE NIGHT. Got the highest grade in the class on the paper. I wish it could have been made into a movie…because I would have loved to see it happen…
